This link with take you to the Poetry Foundation site and to a poem which appeared in Poetry magazine. The poem is in the form of a Tanaga, a Filipino indigenous form, and was written in 2021 at the behest of the Philippine Embassy, to commemorate the 75th anniversary of Philippine American diplomatic relationship: “Tanaga for Philippine-American Lovers”. Three other tanagas by Philippine-American poets–Aileen Cassinetto, JoAnn Balingit, and Luisa A. Igloria–who have served or are serving as poets laureate, also appear in that issue, and you can access those poems easily by navigating the Poetry Foundation site.
